The first 12 placings will qualify for the Cock o' North Class on Thursday. A Perpetual Silver Trophy, offered by the late Robert Hanson, in memory of the late William Hanson, will be awarded to the winner of this class. Under table A8. Speed 375 metres per minute. Maximum height of fences 1.60m. For registered Grade A horses, to be the property of, and to be ridden by, current members of British Showjumping. The following combinations of horse and rider will qualify for this class: Class 1: The first 12 placings. Class 3: The first 12 placings, (not already qualified). Class 4: The first 4 placings, (not already qualified). Class 5: The highest placed, (not already qualified). Anyone who is eligible for this class but not wishing to compete are asked to inform the Declarations office after their class. A horse and rider may only qualify once for this class. A Perpetual Silver Challenge Trophy, offered by James R Ogden & Sons Ltd., will be awarded to the winner of this class. Prizes: 1st: £7,000; 2nd: £5,100; 3rd: £3,600; 4th: £2,400; 5th: £1,500; 6th: £800; 7th: £400; 8th: £200 Riders who qualify for this class during the Show, must pay the "Starting Fee of £45" (inc. VAT), before 2pm on Thursday 15th July. Payments are to be made at the Exhibitor's Reception, Regional Agricultural Centre (next to Fodder). Any rider who has not paid the starting fee before 2pm on Thursday 15th July, will not be able to compete in this class. This class will begin at 16.15 in the Main Ring. (Provisional time)
