Travel

The Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, is easily accessible from all parts of the country by road, rail or air.

Just off the A1(M) and accessible from all parts of the country by road, rail or air. Please follow the signs for ease of access to the Show.

Shuttle Bus

Harrogate District Travel operates a FREE return bus service from Harrogate Bus Station (next to the Railway Station)  to the Showground commencing daily at 7:30am until 7:30pm (7.30 am until 7pm on Thursday).  Buses are not low floor and wheelchair access is limited.  Buses depart every 20 minutes from the town centre and the service is FREE.   

Please note that the service from Hornbeam Park station has been discontinued.

Train

Trains run every half hour between Leeds and Harrogate and every hour between York and Harrogate. Take advantage of the shuttle bus from Harrogate Railway Station.  Timetable will be available to download here closer to the event.

Bike

We are pleased to be able to offer secure bike parking at two entrances of the Show – Blue Gate and White Gate. A traffic management steward will assist you in finding these entrances.

During the Show

Obtain travel updates on the roads around Harrogate from the Highways Agency.
