Faq's

Can I bring my dog to the Great Yorkshire Show? View

Dogs (except registered assistance dogs) are strictly prohibited in the Showground or in the car parks. Cars with dogs will be refused entry to the car parks. 

What are the opening times of the Show? View

Opening Times are:  Tuesday & Wednesday 7.30am - 7.30pm, Thursday 7.30am - 6.30pm 

When ordering tickets online why I am not prompted for which day I wish to attend. View

Advance tickets are valid for any one day, giving you flexibility when planning your visit to the Show. 

What are the dates for the Great Yorkshire Show 2012? View

The 154th Great Yorkshire Show runs from Tuesday 10 - Thursday 12 July 2012.

What are the dates for the Great Yorkshire Show 2013? View

The 155th Great Yorkshire Show runs from Tuesday 9 - Thursday 11 July 2013.

What are the dates for the Great Yorkshire Show 2014? View

 We are celebrating our 155th Great Yorkshire Show from Tuesday 9 -Thursday 11 July 2014.

When can I buy Great Yorkshire Show tickets in advance? View

Advance ticket sales commence from 1st March 2012 and you can either purchase them online or by calling the ticket hotline 01423 541222 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm).

How do I find the entry closing dates? View

This information can be found in the Livestock & Entries section, where all the entry closing dates are listed. Schedules and Entry Forms are also available for download from these pages.

I am interested in becoming a member of the Great Yorkshire Show - where can I find information? View

Membership to the Yorkshire Agricultural Society provides the following benefits at this year's Great Yorkshire Show - free admission to all parts of the Show, preferential car parking, use of Members' facilities and much more. Vacancies at the Great Yorkshire Show - I am interested in applying for temporary jobs during the Great Yorkshire Show. How do I apply? View

We are no longer accepting applications for temporary jobs for the Great Yorkshire Show 2012, as all positions have been filled and our waiting list is full.  Details regarding work for Great Yorkshire Show 2013 will be available here from February 2013. 

Do you offer reduced rates for groups visiting the Great Yorkshire Show? View
